Kelly Services is recruiting on behalf of our client for a permanent Human Resources Manager to join their team in Brantford, Ontario. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping HR strategies and initiatives that support the company's goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with legislation and company standards.
Lead recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a strong talent pipeline.
Oversee employee relations, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
Administer benefits programs and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
Manage payroll processes and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborate with managers on workforce planning and staffing needs.
Promote employee engagement, morale, and retention through HR initiatives.
Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR matters.
Required Knowledge & Experience & Skills:
Minimum 5 years of progressive HR management experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings.
Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems; ADP Workforce Now experience is an asset.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (CHRP, SHRM-CP) preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 per year
Annual performance-based bonus
