This role is focused on creating clean, fast, secure, and conversion-driven websites that help medical businesses attract patients, build trust, and generate appointment bookings.
This is a project-based role with the potential for long-term collaboration.
Responsibilities
Build and customize WordPress websites for medical and wellness clients
Implement responsive, mobile-first designs
Optimize website speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals
Integrate appointment booking systems and contact forms
Set up on-page SEO best practices (titles, schema, metadata)
Ensure HIPAA-aware best practices (no sensitive data stored improperly)
Configure analytics, tracking, and conversion events
Maintain high standards for accessibility and usability
Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with WordPress development
Proficiency with Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar page builders
Solid understanding of UI/UX for healthcare websites
Experience integrating booking systems (Calendly, Amelia, Bookly, etc.)
Knowledge of website performance optimization
Familiarity with basic on-page SEO
Ability to follow medical branding and compliance guidelines
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Nice-to-Have (Bonus)
Experience working with medical, dental, or wellness clients
Knowledge of HIPAA-compliant website practices
Experience with CRM integrations
Local SEO experience for clinics and practices
Copy/layout optimization for patient conversions
