Position Overview
We are a fast-growing residential construction and restoration company operating across multiple states, specializing in roofing, storm restoration, mitigation, and insurance-related repairs. We are seeking an experienced Remote Project Manager to lead projects from initial scope development through final inspection and closeout.
This role is ideal for a charismatic, highly organized construction professional who understands U.S. building codes, best practices, risk management, and insurance restoration workflows. The right candidate will confidently manage subcontractors, homeowners, inspectors, and insurance partners while driving projects forward with efficiency and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scope Development
• Create detailed, accurate project scopes of work for roofing, restoration, and mitigation projects
• Develop budgets, timelines, and execution plans aligned with company standards
• Ensure scopes reflect code compliance, safety requirements, and best construction practices
• Build and review estimates using Xactimate when applicable
Subcontractor Coordination & Bid Management
• Identify, communicate with, and solicit bids from qualified local subcontractors
• Evaluate pricing, availability, and workmanship standards
• Build strong relationships with subcontractor crews to ensure quality and accountability
Vendor Scheduling & Material Procurement
• Schedule material deliveries and coordinate with vendors to support project timelines
• Prevent delays through proactive planning and logistics management
• Ensure correct materials are ordered and delivered according to scope
Inspection & Issue Resolution
• Communicate directly with building inspectors and local jurisdictions
• Resolve field issues related to code compliance, permitting, and inspection approvals
• Manage documentation and corrections efficiently to keep projects moving forward
Risk & Safety Management
• Identify and mitigate on-site risks to people, property, and project integrity
• Ensure subcontractors follow safe work practices and OSHA-conscious standards
• Anticipate construction challenges before they become costly problems
Client & Insurance Partner Communication
• Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide clear updates, set expectations, and maintain customer confidence
• Communicate professionally with insurance carriers and adjusters on claim-related projects
• Prepare, review, and support insurance estimates using Xactimate
Leadership & Accountability
• Lead projects with confidence, professionalism, and a solutions-first mindset
• Drive schedules, budgets, and outcomes while maintaining quality standards
• Represent the company with integrity and strong communication skills

Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience managing residential construction, roofing, restoration, or mitigation projects
• Strong knowledge of U.S. building codes, construction standards, and inspection processes
• Solid working proficiency in Xactimate (estimate creation, review, supplements, and revisions)
• Proven ability to write scopes of work and manage subcontractor bid processes
• Experience coordinating multiple trades across different job sites and states
• Strong understanding of construction risk management and safety best practices
• Excellent communication skills — confident with homeowners, inspectors, and crews
• Fluent English required; conversational Spanish strongly preferred
• Highly organized, efficient, and capable of managing projects remotely

Compensation Structure
1. Base Salary
$ 12 - $35 per hour
Covers:
• Scope development
• Subcontractor bidding
• Vendor coordination
• Inspection management
• Client and insurance communication
• Project oversight

2. Quarterly Gross Margin Performance Bonus
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for quarterly bonus:
• Minimum average gross margin: 35%
• Minimum 90% on-time project completion
• No major compliance failures
• No repeat inspection failures due to preventable oversight
If average GM is below 35%, no bonus is paid.
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
