What You'll Bring:
- 5 years of data entry experience, preferably in a billing function
- Experience interpreting contracts and translating them into billing requirements
- Analytical experience and problem solving skills
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel Advanced level and Word
- Associates degree in Business or college level accounting courses or equivalent experience
- Experience using PeopleSoft will be considered as an asset
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Impact You'll Make:
As the Shared Services Billing Rep, you will work closely with the business, sales, and operations associates to drive timely and accurate invoicing to our rapidly expanding customer base. Global Shared Services provides global business services to TransUnion in the areas of payroll, finance, accounting and procurement. Operating as a business within a business, the GSS team manages a network of internal and external service providers—with a focus on process improvement, efficiency, automation and customer service. GSS has played and continues to play a significant role in TransUnion's drive for operational excellence.
- Working closely with the sales and operations team, you will enter and maintain pricing structures, customer data, and sales information, in the billing system
- Investigate billing issues as they arise and drive them to resolution to ensure we provide accurate and timely billing
- Work closely with other team members to respond to internal and external audit request to ensure accurate invoicing of our customers
- Process adjustments and prepare corrected invoices and related documents as required.
- Ensure compliance to company's standard operating procedures and SOX requirements and updating them as necessary with changes to process/system
- Be open to accepting and working with ongoing change in policies, procedure and technology thus bringing about increased profitability and success
- Work collaboratively with staff, training them on the use and approach to billing using our systems, and provide alternate solutions to help them bill their customers in accordance to company policies
- Process and trouble shoot transactions with billing errors
- Work closely with and collaborate with others on project related matters
- Prepare scheduled and adhoc reporting for customers
- Maintain written processes for various functions performed
- Monthly volume analysis peer review and audit
- Various other projects as assigned
- Perform audit and approvals for pricing and billing related inputs
The expected pay range for this position is $50,000 - $76,000 annually. The pay information provided for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of expected compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of many factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. In addition, variable compensation is based on applicable company guidance and plan documents as well as performance.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.This job posting is for an existing vacancy. The opening is to backfill a previously held position.
