Job description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Renovations Project Coordinator to join our team. This role involves overseeing the administrative direction and execution of various hotel renovations projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical resource, addressing inquiries and resolving field technical issues, while ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Renovation Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop detailed renovations project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate renovations project activities and resources across multiple teams.
- Ensure renovation projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate renovations project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries.
- Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify potential renovation project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Address and resolve project issues promptly to ensure minimal impact on project goals.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and monitor their performance.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that renovation project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
- Conduct regular renovations project reviews and evaluations to ensure continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional certification or equivalent experience.
- Construction & renovation experience in the hotel/hospitality industry considered a strong asset
- Proven ability to manage multiple renovation projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Office)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year depending on experience level

- Monday to Friday
Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- Renovation Project management or Coordination: 2 years (preferred)
Language:
- English (preferred)
Work Location: In person with travel to renovation project locations on as needed basis
