Border Patrol Job Overview

The Border Patrol Agent role is a unique opportunity for individuals seeking a challenging and rewarding career in law enforcement.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws

  • Preventing the entry of undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of contraband at or near borders

  • Interpreting tracks, marks, and other physical evidence to determine violations

  • Maintaining surveillance from covert positions using various assets such as vehicles, vessels, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles
