The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SEO Specialist to enhance our digital presence and drive student enrollment growth. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role where you will take full ownership of our search engine optimization strategy for our main website, Reporting directly to the CEO and working as part of our marketing team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our SEO efforts. Your expertise will be key to increasing our online brand awareness and generating qualified leads to fuel our college's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- SEO Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy to increase organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and achieve our lead generation and brand awareness goals.
- Technical & On-Page SEO: Conduct detailed technical audits, keyword research, and on-page optimizations to ensure the website is fully optimized for search engines. This includes optimizing content, meta tags, and internal linking.
- Performance Analysis: Use tools like Google Analytics (GA4 preferred) and Google Search Console to track, analyze, and report on SEO campaign performance. Provide regular, data-driven insights and recommendations to the CEO.
- Content Collaboration: Work with the content team to identify opportunities and ensure all new content is optimized for search engines and user experience.
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure ABM College remains a leader in student recruitment.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a dedicated search engine optimization role.
- Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and driving significant traffic growth.
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles.
- Experience with keyword research, keyword mapping, and identifying keyword opportunities.
- Proficiency with SEO tools and platforms (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- A self-starter with a proactive, results-oriented mindset and the ability to work autonomously.
- Experience working with a private college or university is a significant plus.
Job Type, Shift & Schedule:
- Job Type: In person, Full-time, Permanent.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift.
