As a CBPO, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the nation's economic prosperity, deterring illicit activity, and facilitating legitimate trade and travel.

The typical assignments for this position include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations; conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances; determining the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States; preventing illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods and smuggling of contraband. You will also be responsible for making determinations in compliance with laws and regulations that may lead to arrests, seizures of property fines penalties based on findings.
