Exciting Career Opportunity: Customs and Border Protection Officer
The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the role of Customs and Border Protection Officer. This position offers a unique opportunity to serve in law enforcement, safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing national economic prosperity.
About the Role:
- This role involves enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
- You will be responsible for facilitating legitimate trade and travel while preventing illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods.
- Candidates must have excellent communication skills to conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances.
- Duty locations include major ports of entry across the United States.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess:
h3>A minimum of one year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level or relevant education/training.
h3>Description includes conducting interviews with suspected violators using proper law enforcement methods,
h4,enforcing laws related to importing/exporting merchandise,
h4,and utilizing intelligence techniques/behavior analysis.
h3>Educational requirements may be substituted for experience based on graduate-level education leading towards an LL.B./J.D.degree.
