We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Customs and Border Protection Officers. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding America's borders and enforcing laws that protect national security.

• Candidates must be U.S. citizens who have had primary residency in the country for at least three of the last five years.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to make rapid judgments, and demonstrate a high level of integrity. They should also have relevant experience or education in law enforcement or international trade.

This is an entry-level position that offers career progression opportunities up to GS-12 grade level within six years. The starting salary is around $61k per annum plus locality pay depending on duty location.

• Detect smuggling activities using intelligence techniques and risk assessments;


• Select passengers' baggage for further examination using X-ray scanners;


• Maintain accurate records of all inspections conducted during duty hours;
