Be a key player in safeguarding America’s borders and enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws. As a Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO), you will be part of our elite team dedicated to protecting the American people by deterring illicit activity and enhancing economic prosperity.

As a CBPO, your responsibilities will include:

• Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture regulations


• Facilitating legitimate trade and travel while preventing illegal entry of individuals and goods


• Conducting inspections of people, documents, or goods for criminal activity or fraud

1. Age restriction:  Must be referred for selection before reaching their 40th birthday (may not apply to Veterans' Preference eligibles)
2. A minimum of three years general work experience demonstrating ability to meet/deal with people OR A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university OR Combination of education/experience
