This position offers a unique opportunity to join the Federal Law Enforcement Officer profession and play a vital role in safeguarding our nation's borders.

Borders are the first line of defense for any country, making Border Patrol Agents crucial members of law enforcement teams nationwide. As a BPA, you will be responsible for detecting, questioning, and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near international boundaries.

• Detecting people suspected of violating immigration laws by inspecting documents and possessions
• Preventing contraband smuggling through covert positions using various surveillance tools
• Interpreting physical evidence left behind from illegal entry attempts --trails marks etc.
