• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations by conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances.

• Promote compliance with regulations through various means such as educational programs or warning letters in cases where violations are not severe enough for prosecution under criminal law but still require some type enforcement action taken against violators who have shown intent though lack sufficient knowledge about those specific requirements themselves yet wish otherwise!
