The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) is hiring for entry-level, career Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) opportunities.


Job Summary:

This position involves enforcing federal laws and regulations related to immigration and customs at the border. As a BPA, you will be part of an elite team responsible for safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws

  • Pursuing undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders

  • Maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations

  • Interpreting tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry
