The Role
Reporting to the Operations Department, you will play a key role in optimizing production processes, regulatory compliance, and maintaining quality and safety standards.
This position requires you to be on site 5 days a week.
Your Responsibilities
Continuous improvement
Deploy Lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, VSM, problem solving, etc.)
Analyze production processes to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize flows
Define and monitor operational KPIs
Mobilize production teams around a culture of continuous improvement
Health & Safety (OHS)
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Coordinate risk analyses, accident investigations, and action plans
Lead the OHS committee
Implement prevention and training programs
Quality & Audits
Maintain and improve the quality management system (e.g., ISO 9001)
Manage non-compliance and corrective/preventive actions
Plan and conduct internal audits
Coordinate external audits and certifications
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations engineering, administration, or a related field
More than 10 years of experience
Hands-on experience in continuous improvement and production management
Experience in internal auditing is an asset
Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 45001 – an asset)
Rigorous, analytical mind and results-oriented
Team player, proactive, independent
Green Belt certification, an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Microsoft D365, an asset
Bilingualism (French-English)
