THE POSITION
· Hands On. You will complete installations, maintenance and repairs to large equipment, as well as diagnose and locate component and equipment faults.
· Mechanically Inclined. You will research and follow equipment manuals and schematics.
· Customer Service. You will address the concerns and maintenance needs of our customers in a friendly and professional manner.
· Sales Focus. You will communicate with our customers, offering suggestions for installation needs and providing timely follow-up.
·Administration. You will ensure work orders, billings and parts/tool inventory are completed and submitted as per company expectations
·On the move. Daily travel is required.
·Physical. The position requires someone who is comfortable with heavy lifting of equipment and machinery
THE QUALIFICATIONS
You have a minimum of 2-3 years related work experience combined with a post-secondary education. You have hands on practical experience with mechanics, electronics, pneumatics and/or hydraulics, with the ability to use soldering tools, hand tools and power tools. You have general carpentry, plumbing and/or construction experience, and are able to maintain an accurate parts and tool inventory. You are a self-starter with strong problem-solving and communication skills, and work well independently or as part of a team. You are comfortable with regularly unpacking, lifting and moving heavy dental equipment on a daily basis. Please note, a valid driver's license is required. **Must be able to travel; some weekend work may be required.
