Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and creative 2D Animator to produce a five-minute animated video using an existing script and a set of pre-developed visual assets. This role will leverage modern AI-powered animation tools to efficiently transform static visuals and written content into a polished, engaging final product.
The ideal candidate combines strong storytelling instincts, technical animation ability, and familiarity with AI-driven animation workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret an existing script and translate it into a compelling visual narrative
Use provided visual assets (characters, backgrounds, illustrations, brand elements) to create a cohesive animated video
Utilize AI animation tools to enhance production efficiency while maintaining high creative quality
Develop storyboards and animatics as needed
Animate characters, text, and visual elements in 2D
Add transitions, motion graphics, and visual effects where appropriate
Sync animation with voiceover, sound effects, and music
Deliver a polished five-minute 2D animated video in required formats
Incorporate feedback and execute revisions efficiently
Required Qualifications
Proven experience creating 2D animated videos (portfolio required).
Proficiency in animation and motion design software (e.g., After Effects, Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, or similar).
Experience using AI-powered animation tools and automation workflows.
Strong understanding of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling.
Ability to work from a script and existing brand assets.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
