This is a foundational project where you will help establish the long-term visual identity and layout system for our publication.
Scope of Work:
Phase 1 – Master Magazine Design (Adobe InDesign)
Design a clean, modern, professional magazine layout system
Create a 14–20 page master template structure
Establish typography styles, color system, and layout grids
Develop consistent branding and reusable design components
Ensure layouts are optimized for both digital flipbook and print formats
Phase 2 – Template Creation
Design reusable master templates for:
Front Cover
Inside Cover Advertisement
Hello Readers / Editorial Page
Business Spotlight Page
Community News / Articles
Events (2-Page Spread Layout)
Teen Section
Kids Section / Puzzle Page

Phase 3 – Canva Conversion
Convert the magazine layout into Canva editable templates
Ensure drag-and-drop usability for monthly content updates
Maintain visual consistency with InDesign master layout
Provide organized page naming conventions and layout instructions

Design Requirements:
Modern editorial layout
Clean typography and balanced spacing

Required Skills:
Strong Adobe InDesign experience (Magazine Publishing Preferred)

Nice to Have:
Experience designing community or lifestyle magazines

Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop experience

One-time foundational project with potential for ongoing monthly design support.
