This position combines detailed estimating, client coordination, subcontractor management, and on-site oversight to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to high-quality craftsmanship standards. The ideal candidate understands residential construction sequencing, cost control, and homeowner communication within the Greater Vancouver market.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare comprehensive estimates, quantity takeoffs, and proposals for single-family homes and residential renovation projects in Delta, BC
Manage projects from design development and permitting through construction and final handover
Coordinate subcontractors, trades, inspections, suppliers, and material deliveries
Monitor project schedules, budgets, job costs, and change orders to maintain profitability
Conduct regular site visits to ensure workmanship quality, safety compliance, and project progress
Communicate effectively with homeowners, designers, consultants, and internal teams to manage expectations and scope
Review and interpret architectural and residential construction drawings accurately
Requirements
Proven experience building single-family homes and managing residential renovations
Strong background in residential project management and estimating
Solid understanding of wood-frame construction methods, sequencing, and local building codes in British Columbia
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong scheduling and cost-control skills
Proficiency in reading and interpreting residential blueprints and specifications
Professional, client-facing communication and leadership abilities
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Benefits
Annual salary: CAD $90,000 - $120,000, depending on experience
