  • What You'll Do

  • Safely operates the buses complying with all policies, procedures, and guidelines of the WEGO visitor transportation system and Niagara Parks Commission.
  • Performs a daily bus pre-trip inspection and records and reports any problems to the Supervisor and maintenance staff.
  • Maintains awareness of vehicle conditions (e.g. gauges, lights, etc.) and reports deficiencies to supervisor. 
  • Fills out the defect sheets on the bus during their operating schedule and reports serious deficiencies to the dispatch immediately.
  • Follows proper radio procedures; reports all accidents/incidents.
  • Monitors passenger capacity according to established procedure.
  • Adhering to NPC policies and procedures when operating a WEGO bus.
  • Provide visitors with a script of information based on provided tourism materials.
  • Works in accordance with all health and safety procedures, e.g. traffic/pedestrian safety, safe operation of bus

  • What You'll Bring

  • Completion of Secondary School diploma.
  • Valid Class CZ or BZ Driver's License and with an exemplary driving record. 
  • Required to obtain and/or renew Niagara Parks Guide License each year (online or in-house training).
  • Two years of related transit/tourism driving preferred or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills. 
  • Knowledge of NPC attractions, facilities, and services.
