The opportunityData Engineering Intern is a vital member of a multidisciplinary team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the end-to-end infrastructure that powers data-driven decisions. This role offers hands-on experience in developing scalable data pipelines and modern data warehouse solutions to transform raw data into actionable insights.
The role
- Will participate in the development of data catalog and data quality, and perform documentation to ensure data remains high-quality, secure, and compliant
- Will contribute to data warehouse development and the architectural design of scalable data models.
- Will collaborate on the design and maintenance of automated data pipelines to process and clean large-volume datasets.
The requirements
- 2nd or 3rd year, or new graduated in a Computer Engineering or Computer Science University program
- Programming: Proficiency in SQL and Python (or Java) for data manipulation and automation.
- Cloud Awareness: Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and tools such as dbt and etc.
- Problem Solving: A resourceful attitude toward tackling complex technical challenges and a willingness to learn AI for IT operations etc.
- This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees or markets located outside the province of Quebec or requiring services in a language other than French – mainly English.
