CBP seeks highly motivated individuals to join our team as Customs and Border Protection Officers (CBPOs). As a CBPO, you will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations. You will work closely with other law enforcement agencies to prevent the smuggling of illegal drugs, currency, contraband goods, terrorists or other prohibited items into the United States.

• Enforce customs, immigration and agricultural inspection procedures at U.S. ports of entry


• Conduct inspections on incoming merchandise in baggage claim areas


• Identify potential threats through intelligence gathering techniques/risk assessments


• Detain suspected violators of federal state or local laws;
  Arrest violators using proper methods
