Border Protection Officer

As a Border Protection Officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the nation's borders and enforcing customs and immigration laws. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in national security and contribute to the protection of American citizens.

• This position involves working at various locations along the US-Mexico border, including ports of entry and between official ports of entry.
• You will be responsible for detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration or custom laws.
• You will also inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.

1. Detecting suspicious activities and inspecting vehicles, cargo, luggage, etc. for contraband goods
2. Conducting interviews with travelers entering the United States by air, land or sea
3. Absolving CBP missions according common law principles managing due process rights applicable worldwide
