Sales Engineer
We are seeking a Sales Engineer to serve as a technical advisor and product advocate for our customers. This role requires both sales expertise and technical knowledge to deliver effective solutions for commercial and technical projects. The ideal candidate will understand customer needs, generate leads, and drive sales while ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Sales Lead Generation: Research and analyze customer accounts to understand their needs. Identify key decision-makers and generate interest in company products and services. Follow up on inbound leads and create new sales opportunities through: Cold calling and email outreach. Industry networking and trade shows. Direct customer visits. Meet and exceed sales quotas by: Closing sales in assigned territories. Quoting new and existing business. Expanding into new accounts and maintaining relationships with top customers. Utilizing consultative selling techniques to build long-term partnerships. Sales Engineering & Product Support: Collaborate on new product development projects. Act as a technical liaison between the company and customers. Manage engineering change orders and process customer-initiated changes. Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) for products. Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards (ISO 90001, ISO 13485). Order Processing & Customer Support: Assist in preparing customer quotes based on product specifications. Work with customer service on billing, pricing, shipping, and returns. Coordinate with the production manager to expedite orders and ensure on-time delivery. Organizational Duties: Maintain an organized and structured work environment. Perform additional tasks as required by the organization. Qualifications:
Strong phone presence with experience making 10-15 calls per day. Proficiency with productivity tools and web presentations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong multi-tasking and prioritization abilities. Proven sales experience, particularly in custom-manufactured products for OEM clients in the medical industry. Minimum: 2 years of coursework in an engineering field. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. Why Join Us?
