Become an essential part of our team as an Order Picker in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is fundamental to our Logistics operations, focusing on accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. You will utilize scanning technology and follow specific picking lists to ensure precision. We seek motivated individuals who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail. Maintaining a high level of accuracy and contributing to a safe work environment are paramount. This position offers the chance to be part of a collaborative team within a growing company. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated locations using RF scanners and pick sheets.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Maintain organized and clean picking zones.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking or cycle counting.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking quotas and team goals.
- Ensure that all Lifting and material handling is done safely.
- Understand and follow instructions related to our Logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods.
- Physical capability to perform Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Logistics terminology and warehouse systems is a plus.
- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to wear necessary PPE.
