We are looking for a diligent Order Picker to join our busy warehouse team in Tampa, Florida. As an Order Picker, your primary responsibility will be to accurately retrieve items from inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing warehouse equipment and following strict safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Ensure the correct items and quantities are picked for each order.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely as needed.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Follow all instructions from supervisors to optimize workflow and meet productivity goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding attendance, performance, and safety.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including safety vests and shoes.
- Support the overall logistics and efficiency of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and pick lists.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices is required.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management is beneficial.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
