Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our Houston, Texas warehouse team. This role is fundamental to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, performing regular audits, and ensuring all inventory data is up-to-date and precise. A strong understanding of inventory management systems and a commitment to accuracy are essential. We prioritize workplace safety, providing all necessary PPE and adhering to strict safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment. While this role is less physically demanding than some, it still requires attention to detail and the ability to manage stock. You'll be a key player in our logistics chain, ensuring the smooth flow of goods. Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using our warehouse management system.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock levels.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
  • Receive, inspect, and properly document incoming inventory.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse stock for efficient retrieval.
  • Prepare inventory reports for management, highlighting key metrics and potential issues.
  • Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure efficient inventory flow.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Assist with the organization and management of warehouse stock, which may involve some lifting.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory management role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
