We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Worker to join our busy operations in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will perform a variety of general warehouse duties essential for maintaining the flow of goods within our logistics facility. This includes assisting with loading and unloading, organizing stock, and ensuring a safe and tidy work environment. The ideal candidate possesses a strong sense of responsibility, the ability to handle physical tasks, and a commitment to workplace safety. Your contribution is vital to our overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Sort and place incoming inventory onto designated shelves or storage areas.
- Pick and pack orders as directed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks for moving goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse aisles, docks, and common areas.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Provide general support to other warehouse staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.
- Flexibility to work different shifts if required.
