Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. This position is vital for the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics network. You will perform a range of duties including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Accuracy and efficiency are key as you contribute to meeting operational targets. A strong commitment to workplace safety is expected, with all associates required to follow safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves regular physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds, and requires the ability to stand and move throughout the shift. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately according to specifications.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
  • Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management.
  • Operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and use required PPE.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
  • Ability to perform consistent Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
