Join our innovative team as a Picker/Packer in San Jose, California, and play a vital role in our e-commerce fulfillment operations. You will be responsible for accurately picking products for customer orders and carefully packing them for shipment. This position demands speed, accuracy, and a commitment to quality. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications using a scanning device.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Select the correct shipping labels and ensure proper documentation.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking and packing station.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks.
- Contribute to meeting daily fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capacity for Lifting items up to 30 lbs frequently.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with scanning technology is a plus.
- Strong commitment to Safety and operational procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses and gloves.
