Join our bustling warehouse operations in Miami, Florida, as a Forklift Operator. This role is vital for moving materials safely and efficiently throughout our facility. If you are a skilled and safety-conscious individual with experience operating forklifts, we encourage you to apply. You will play a key part in our logistics and fulfillment processes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and unstack pallets of goods.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Transport materials to and from various areas of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and shipping docks.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Ensure the safe and efficient storage of products, maintaining organized racking systems.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Follow all directions from supervisors and work collaboratively with team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the forklift and surrounding areas.
- Support general warehouse duties as needed, contributing to overall logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety; knowledge of proper lifting techniques and equipment operation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Must wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
