Responsibilities:
- Select specified items from warehouse inventory according to order tickets or scanning devices.
- Ensure the accuracy of picked items and quantities against order requirements.
- Package picked items securely and safely for transport.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (if certified) and other material handling equipment as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area and the warehouse.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and help maintain stock accuracy.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues encountered during the picking process to supervisors.
- Meet or exceed established productivity standards for order fulfillment.
- Support the overall logistics and shipping functions of the facility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order fulfillment, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Capability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team.
