Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on warehouse machinery, including forklifts, conveyor belts, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
- Install new equipment and ensure it operates correctly.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.
- Assist with inventory management of spare parts and supplies.
- Conduct safety inspections of equipment and work areas.
- Train other staff on basic equipment operation and safety procedures.
- Support the logistics team by ensuring equipment reliability.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; vocational training in mechanics or electrical systems preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
- Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting up to 60 pounds.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
