• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations
• Interpret tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry
• Farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, transportation checks
• Patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways using various government assets such as vehicles,horses,vessels,cars,bikes,motorcycles for accomplishing USBP Mission.
