Border Security Specialist

The position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to learn quickly, and work effectively under pressure. You must be able to pass rigorous training programs at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco GA.

• Enforce customs, immigration and agricultural laws; inspect goods being transported across international borders;
• Promote compliance with border protection policies through outreach activities;

• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen;
• A minimum of three years full-time general work experience or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university;
  Military/Civilian Law Enforcement Experience:
  An additional way to qualify based on previous law enforcement/military service
