The position involves enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws while facilitating legitimate trade and travel. You will be responsible for conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances to determine admissibility into the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting Cargo,:
detaining suspected violators; enforcing regulations relating to importing/exporting merchandise;
preserving compliance with import/export laws,
handing issues related to contraband or prohibited goods.
risk assessments may require utilizing intelligence techniques & behavior analysis.
