We're launching a B2B SaaS platform that powers contracts, escrow, and payments for the entertainment industry.
Our website and landing pages are already built. We need a strong SaaS copywriter to refine and sharpen existing copy so it accurately reflects our current product positioning and speaks directly to our audience: production companies, talent agencies, and entertainment professionals managing complex workflows.
This is not a branding exercise. The positioning is defined. We need precision, clarity, and consistency across all customer touchpoints. Think Stripe or Gusto's tone-professional and authoritative, but not stiff or overly corporate.
What You'll Deliver
Phase 1: Core Product Copy (Week 1)
Website copy refinement – Homepage, product pages, and key landing pages aligned with current product capabilities
Onboarding email sequence – Account creation, first booking, workflow milestones (5-7 emails)
In-app microcopy audit – Button labels, empty states, confirmation messages, error states
ToS/legal alignment check – Ensure marketing copy doesn't contradict Terms of Service; flag any inconsistencies
Phase 2: GTM Materials (Week 2)
Product one-pager – Single-page overview for sales conversations and pilot outreach
FAQ sheet – 10-15 questions addressing common objections, legal/compliance questions, and workflow clarifications
Pilot program overview – 1-page document explaining pilot terms, timeline, and what participants can expect
LinkedIn launch content – 4-6 posts for founder/company page (mix of product announcement, thought leadership, and industry insight)
Launch email template – Announcement email to pilot waitlist and early interest leads
Deliverables Format
All copy delivered in Google Docs with change tracking
Style guide documentation for future consistency (tone, terminology, formatting standards)
One round of revisions included per deliverable
Ideal Candidate
5+ years writing for B2B SaaS, with preference for marketplace, workflow, fintech, or legaltech platforms
Portfolio demonstrates ability to explain complex products simply and write for multiple audiences (end users + decision makers)
Experience writing for regulated or trust-critical industries (legal, financial services, healthcare, etc.)
Comfortable working from product briefs, existing messaging frameworks, and style guides
Strong command of written English with tight, clear sentence structure
Bonus: Background in entertainment, production, legal services, or financial workflows
Working Style
You'll work directly with the founder and product designer
Quick feedback loops and we move fast and expect the same
Structured briefs provided for all deliverables
We value writers who ask clarifying questions upfront and deliver clean first drafts
Engagement Details
Timeline: 2 weeks
Hours: 10-15 hours/week (~30 total hours)
Rate: $30-$45/hour based on experience and portfolio fit
Format: Fully remote, contract basis

All copy is consistent in tone, terminology, and messaging
We have a lightweight style guide to maintain consistency going forward
