We run a live, revenue-generating SaaS platform with both a static frontend and a web application layer (authentication, billing, uploads, subscriptions). The front end Application gets a lot of organic traffic, over 100k monthly users, we are try to convert as much into paying customers.
We are looking for a senior, hands-on full-stack engineer to help:
- Review the existing codebase
- Identify and fix critical bugs
- Improve reliability and performance
- Stabilise the platform for growth
This is not a greenfield build.
It is a real production system that requires experience working with existing code.
Platform Stabilisation & Bug Fixing
- Reviewing the existing codebase and deployment setup
- Identifying and fixing critical bugs and edge cases
- Improving error handling, logging, and reliability
- Improving performance and upload/download stability
- Reviewing CI/CD and deployment reliability
- Billing & Pricing Funnel Improvements
- Implementing and improving subscription pricing tiers
- Supporting upgrades, downgrades, and plan changes
- Improving Stripe checkout and customer flows
- Handling failed payments, retries, and cancellations
- Improving webhook handling and subscription state management
UI / UX Improvements
- Improving the pricing and plan comparison pages
- Improving checkout and onboarding UX
- Improving account and subscription management UI
- Reducing friction in key conversion flows
- Improving error states and user feedback
General Engineering Improvements
- Refactoring critical areas where necessary
- Improving code quality and maintainability
- Documenting key systems and flows
Scope will be prioritised and agreed in advance.

Contract duration of more than 6 months.
