**What You'll Build:**
A functional AI chatbot prototype that handles:
- Product selection and customization (size, color, custom options)
- Real-time product data from Shopify
- Secure checkout via Stripe
- Basic conversation flow management
**Tech Stack:**
AI & Backend:
- OpenAI GPT-3.5 or GPT-4 (depending on budget)
- Python or for backend API
- Basic LangChain integration (optional but preferred)
Full-Stack:
- MERN Stack (MongoDB, , React, )
- RESTful API development
Integrations:
- Shopify API (product catalog, basic cart)
- Stripe payment integration
- API integration experience required
**Scope (MVP Features):**
Basic conversational flow for product customization
Shopify API integration (fetch products, pricing, inventory)
Stripe checkout link generation (simple implementation)
Web chat interface (React component)
Basic conversation logging
Simple deployment setup
**Deliverables:**
- Working chatbot MVP with core functionality
- Shopify and Stripe integrated
- Basic web chat interface
- Simple documentation
- Source code with setup instructions
**What We're NOT Including (Keep Scope Manageable):**
WhatsApp integration (future phase)
Advanced vector database (Pinecone/Weaviate)
Complex analytics dashboard
Multi-channel support (web only for MVP)
**Must Have:**
- Chatbot development experience (OpenAI API)
- MERN stack or + React knowledge
- API integration skills
- Shopify API experience (or quick learner)
- Stripe integration experience
**Nice to Have:**
- LangChain experience
- Previous e-commerce chatbot work
- Python backend skills
**Budget:** 20-30$ per hour
**Timeline:** 3-5 days
