The impact you will have

As a Component Engineer in Arjo Product Development and Engineering unit, you will be part of a global electronics team with end-to-end responsibility for electronics and electrical design for our health care products.

You will manage the LCM information collection and monitoring for the components and initiate LCM activities for our products. Together with our procurement organization you will drive component selection strategies and guide the development and engineering projects in their component decisions.

You will also be responsible for our Altium CAD tool and library of components used by all electronics designers in the company worldwide, including license management and design rules. It will be your responsibility to drive component and PCB block creation in the tool, both in terms of creating components directly, and by managing rules, reviews and training enabling the electronics team members to create compliant components and blocks.

You will be reporting to the Director of Electronics and Software Development.

What we expect from you

We believe that you have:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Electronics Design or Electronics Procurement.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Altium electronics CAD tool
  • Experience with electronic component life cycle management using PLM and ERP systems
  • Experience of working with electronics suppliers
  • Understanding of component and product certification and standards such as EC, UL, RoHs, and applicable IEC/ISO standards
  • Understanding of regulated design environments
  • Understanding of PCBA Manufacturing Processes
  • A well-organized and details oriented approach to your job
  • Ability to deal effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service oriented attitude.
  • excellent written and oral English communication skills and be a "Team" player.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business  judgement
