Product Compliance Engineer

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO :

• Support the development groups in terms of product compliance over a vast array of product lines with environmental and design standards in mind.

• Monitor and/or carry out searches on regulations / standards applicable to BRP products, analyse the requirements for compliance and, interpret for colleagues in need of support.

• Be the specialist internally, coordinate multiple activities, prepare technical files, submit them and manage the relationship with officials to obtain certificates.

• Influence regulatory tables / industry associations in the development of technical standards and regulations.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent and at least 3 years of relevant experience

• Technical knowledge of motorized products, chemicals or connectivity (i.e. Internet of things).

• Ability to integrate electrical, electronic, software and mechanical principles together.

• Skilled at processing and interpreting technical and legal information

• Find creative solutions to the problems you encounter.

• Meticulous, with excellent attention to detail and client focus.

• Strong knowledge of computer programs

• Autonomous, excellent collaborator and a great team player.

• Bilingual in both French and English.
