As a General Management Support Manager, you play a key role in providing guidance to the general manager on cross-sector coordination for strategic files and the overall management of the caisse. You actively contribute to the development of the business plan and performance framework, ensuring they're aligned with Desjardins Group's strategic directions, priority issues and target objectives. You also ensure rigorous monitoring and make recommendations to the management committee. Your ability to make quality decisions and your focus on achieving tangible results allows you to effectively support the management committee and contribute to the caisse's overall performance. You oversee employees' and managers' skills development to ensure high-quality services. Your ability to build high-performance teams and helping talent reach its full potential is a key asset in this role. You oversee a team mostly made up of HR, communications and associative affairs advisors. You also have functional authority over other caisse teams for cross-sector files you're associated with. More specifically, you will be required to:
Contribute to developing business strategies in line with Desjardins Group's strategic directions and with analyses of the caisse'schallenges.
Oversee the integration of various solutions provided by the Federation (cross-sector coordination and benefits recovery monitoring).
Attend board meetings to represent strategic and financial aspects and lead certain committees.
Act as a partner on the management committee to define HR's direction and develop the annual communication plan in compliance with the allocated budget.
Manage the annual salary budget, including total compensation, and the communications budget.
Manage skills development activities (management and non-management) for the caisse.
Manage and coordinate major events, special projects and activities (for example: relocations, mergers and changes to corporate culture).
Coordinate communication and representation activities.
Negotiate and manage collective agreements, grievances, as well as sponsorships, donations and subscriptions; manage and negotiate with the work relations committee.
Represent the caisseand Desjardins Group in the community.

What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required
