Shipper–Receiver (6-Month Temporary Position)

APEX is looking for a Shipper–Receiver to support our Aerospace Component Manufacturing team for a 6-month temporary assignment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and playing a key role in ensuring high-quality products reach our customers on time.

In this role, you are the final checkpoint before our parts leave the facility and the first point of contact when materials arrive. Your attention to detail and care directly impact our production flow and customer satisfaction.
Job Duties

• Prepare parts and products for shipment (wrapping, boxing, labeling)

• Pick and organize parts scheduled to ship

• Complete shipping documentation accurately (Bills of Lading, customs forms, customer paperwork)

• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and condition

• Record and report shortages, overages, or damages

• Load, unload, pack, and label containers

• Maintain shipping supplies and request replenishment when needed

• Help ensure jobs are closed and shipments stay on schedule

• Support the team with other operational tasks as required
   

  Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience

• Good understanding of shipping/receiving processes and documentation

• Comfortable using shipping tools and equipment

• Strong attention to detail and organization skills

• Ability to follow procedures and meet production timelines

• Commitment to working safely and keeping a clean workspace

• Team player who communicates well and looks for ways to improve processes
• Forklift license (an asset)
