Job Status: Open Vacancy
Location: Niagara Falls, ON (On-site)
Compensation: $19.43/hr

Please note that Niagara Parks operates seasonally; therefore, this position is expected to begin between April and July, depending on operational needs.

    • What You'll Do

  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work area by adhering to all sanitation and hygiene procedures, including sweeping, and mopping of the kitchen floor as required. 
  • Prepares various Quick Serve items according to NPC recipes, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs various preparation activities (i.e., chopping onions, pre-cooking various Quick Serve Menu items, and preparing salads and fruit cups).
  • Filling and maintaining proper levels of Fryer Oil.
  • Ensure proper heating, reheating and storage of food items occurs in accordance with Public Health regulations. 
  • Depending on location may be required to help push Hot Dog and Ice Cream Carts to proper parkway placement. 
  • Re-stock various items throughout their shift. 
  • Perform various bus help duties as required.
  • Works in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act, First Aid, WHMIS, AGCO Regulations, Safe Food Handling Regulations, Recycling Programs and established policies and procedures. 
  • Provides guests with information regarding NPC Attractions and Events. 
  • Promotes a positive image of the Niagara Parks Commission.
  • Provides quality customer service that meets NPC Standards. 
  • As assigned.

    • What You'll Bring

  • Completion of a Secondary School Diploma or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Training in Food Preparation is an asset.
  • Knowledge in food preparation operations, Food Safety and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
