The Opportunity:Shermco is seeking a proactive Electrical Testing Estimator to join our team. You'll turn project specifications into accurate, competitive quotes for electrical testing projects, including breakers, transformers, and switchgear. This is a hands-on role that requires technical insight, organizational skill, and a drive to streamline processes. You'll work closely with sales and operations to deliver high-quality proposals that win business.

• Analyze RFQs and create accurate, competitive quotes for electrical testing projects.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and vendors to gather technical details and costs.
• Review plans, proposals, and historical data to maximize project margins.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns including labor, materials, and logistics.
• Assist with change orders and proposal updates as needed.
• Stay current on industry trends, Shermco services, and best practices.
• Manage the quote queue to ensure timely submissions.
• Participate in job walks and training to expand technical knowledge.

• 2+ years estimating electrical testing or related electrical experience (journeyman or engineering technologist experience considered).
• Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams and technical plans.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe, Bluebeam; Salesforce experience a plus.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Self-directed, motivated, and detail oriented.
• Professional demeanor with a positive attitude.
