Work as a Frontline Officer

As a frontline officer, you will be part of the Department of Homeland Security workforce, protecting American interests and securing our nation. You will work to prevent the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods into the United States, while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.

The primary responsibilities for this role include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations; conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances; determining admissibility for entry into the United States; preventing the smuggling of contraband items such as drugs or other illicit materials. The typical assignments are based on operational requirements but often involve working at borders between USA or within in multiple US states mentioned below.
