The CBP Field Operations Academy is a paid pre-academy orientation that lasts approximately two weeks at your home port. This training program then spans 101 days at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) located in Glynco, GA., covering topics such as basic law enforcement skills, immigration laws, firearms training examination of cargo/bags/merchandise physical fitness etc. Candidates assigned to southern border Miami or Puerto Rico duty locations must complete an online Spanish language course concurrently during this time frame which they will take part from there own location after finishing field academy.
