Leadership:

Essential Skills: Proficient in embedded software development tools and environments (e.g., debuggers, emulators, compilers).
Experienced in hardware-software integration with a strong background in microcontrollers, microprocessors, and FPGA systems.
Familiarity with communication protocols, including CAN, ARINC 429, and MIL-STD-1553.
Understanding of various software development methodologies, including Agile and V-Model.
Strong programming skills in C and additional scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 6 years in Engineering and Technology.
At least 5 years of experience in programming embedded software.
A minimum of 3 years of experience with C or ADA programming languages.
Willingness to reside in or relocate to Grand Rapids, MI is required (an extensive corporate relocation package is available for eligible candidates).
Eligibility Requirements: This position requires U.S. citizenship status. Desired Qualifications: Experience with DO-178B/C development projects.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Comprehensive experience in full life-cycle software development.
Strong project management capabilities.
Knowledge of real-time operating systems and Hypervisor technologies; familiarity with Xilinx Standalone operating environment is a plus.
Proven expertise in network driver development with commercial embedded real-time operating systems.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is preferred.
Experience collaborating with global development teams is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to meet cost and schedule targets.
Compensation and Benefits: The base pay for this position ranges from $112,000.00 to $120,000.00, influenced by factors such as experience and education. An annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary is also available. Additional benefits include healthcare coverage, a robust retirement savings plan with matching contributions, tuition assistance, and paid parental leave, among others.
