Duties and Responsibilities
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws by inspecting documents, luggage, and surrounding areas to identify potential threats.
- Preventing illegal border crossings through surveillance from concealed positions using advanced technologies like infrared scopes during night operations.
- Analyzing tracks, marks, and other physical evidence left behind by individuals attempting to enter the country illegally or smuggle contraband.
This position requires working closely with colleagues to accomplish the USBP Mission objectives effectively.
The ability to understand context situations while swiftly making well-informed decisions will be essential in this demanding yet fulfilling profession.
Required Skills & Qualifications
