Protective Services Officer

You will collaborate with highly trained professionals in various locations along the border, including Sierra Blanca, TX; Presidio, TX; Sanderson, TX; Comstock, TX; Lordsburg NM Freer ,TX Hebbronville,TX Ajo,AZ
Your duties may involve detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws inspecting documents possessions determining citizenship violations preventing apprehending aliens smugglers illegal entry persons contraband farm checks building traffic city patrols transportation checks patrolling international boundary coastal waterways using government assets such as vehicles horses vessels watercraft off-road ATVs snowmobiles motorcycles.
The minimum requirement for this position is one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS 11 grade level performing duties such as physical searches detained individuals vehicles surroundings weapons currency evidence apprehending restraining violators state federal or immigration laws proficient use firearms preparing investigative reports serving court orders gathering evidence criminal cases prosecuted through system
